We’re growing at HOCET Secondary School!   We are so happy to announce that our efforts to launch school-wide cultivation thus far have been successful!  Starting with a few independent student gardens, we have recently expanded the project to a large, all-school garden.

Students have the opportunity to learn practical gardening skills while also participating in cultivating crops to diversify the student menu.  With our poultry farm providing a continuous supply for manure for fertilization, our new Money Maker pump increasing efficiency (see photo), and a very promising school garden manager, we are confident that we are more ready then ever that our vision for the land use will be successful!
