Congratulations to our Climb for Kujali 2012 team for their safe journey up Mt. Kilimanjaro! A brief note from our Executive Director, Sydney Schaef, who climbed with this year’s team…

“It was such an incredible journey this year – and such an honor to climb with this team. The energy and enthusiasm from the group was contagious. It is always so humbling and exciting to get to share our work first-hand with supporters, so the day visit to HSS was particularly special to me. I want to thank each climber – and every individual who supported them – for helping to advance our work in Tanzania and make our impact possible.”

The team arrived in Dar-es-Salaam on the 6th of August, spent several days in the city, and enjoyed a day visit out to HSS before busing north to Moshi, Tanzania, and beginning their trek of Mt. Kilimanjaro on Saturday, August 11th.
